GENERAL / COMMERCIAL CONDITIONS
1) These terms and conditions apply to a service agreement between the Customer and Virtudes Nómadas, Unipessoal Lda (NIPC 515 187 046) represented under the trade mark ‘Discover The Nature - Outdoor Events’.
2) Your agreement to a specific activity presupposes that you have read and accepted these conditions.
3) These supply conditions can be changed by any contract or agreement between the client and Discover The Nature - Outdoor Events.
DISCOVER THE NATURE'S RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Responsibility for preparing and drafting (before, during and after the event) all the logistics inherent to the activity/event.
2) Contemplate with the Client solutions or alternative dates for the activity/event, whenever reasons beyond the control of Discover The Nature - Outdoor Events or the Client make it impossible to carry it out on the previously agreed date.
3) Carry out the activity in accordance with the proposal presented to the client and guarantee its smooth running.
4) Present the Client with any additional costs if changes are requested that were not included in the initial proposal.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

2) Ensure that all participants are in a good health condition that allows them to take part in the chosen activity.
3) If you do not authorise the use of the audiovisual and photographic material captured during the activity for the marketing or promotional purposes by Discover The Nature - Outdoor Events, you must inform us of this intention when you fill in the registration form.
4) Personal belongings brought by participants to the activity are their sole responsibility and Discover The Nature - Outdoor Events cannot be responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.
5) Minors must:
a) Be accompanied by their legal guardian.
b) When it is not possible to be accompanied by a legal guardian, minors must have a declaration signed by the guardian expressly authorising the minor's participation in the activity.
AWARD AND PAYMENT
1) An activity is confirmed when the client completes the following procedures:
a) Submission of a written document (which may be by email) expressing the intention to carry out the activity;
b) Payment for the activity.
Payment must be made in full at the confirmation time, or alternatively an initial payment of 50 per cent can be made at the time of confirmation and the remaining 50 per cent up to 72 hours before the start of the activity.
2) For payment purposes, you can use one of the following options:

3) Discover The Nature - Outdoor Events reserves the right to charge the amount agreed for the activity, even in the event of an unforeseen reduction in the number of participants.
4) It may also deny the participation of additional participants in the activity if they have not been provided for by the activity insurance.
CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT AND REFUNDS
1) Other activity options or alternative dates for the scheduled activity will be offered, without the right to a refund in the following situations:
a) Bad weather or hydrological conditions.
b) Force majeure such as wars, earthquakes, fires, pandemics, among others.
c) Situations of an unforeseen nature that could jeopardise the safety of participants.
d) Lack of the minimum number of participants to carry out the activity in activities scheduled by Discover The Nature - Outdoor Events, through our website or through social networks or other means of publicity.
2) Activity cancellations made at least 72 hours before the activity start date will be refunded in full, with the exception of what is described in paragraph 6 (Cancellations, Postponements and Refunds).
3) Activities cancelled with less than 72 hours before the activity starts will automatically result in the loss of all monies paid, and there will be no refund of these monies.
4) Failure to turn up on the date, time and place agreed for the activity automatically means forfeiture of all monies paid and no refund will be made.
5) Business activities cancellations do not apply to the previous points, and the conditions will be informed through the proposal to be sent.
6) Refunds of payments made through Paypal, Bank Cards or other similar means, where the platforms charge any type of fee/commission, this fee/commission will be deducted from the amounts paid, and this cost will be borne by the customer.
Each situation will be analysed individually by Discover The Nature - Outdoor Events in order to find the best solution for both parties.

INSURANCE
1) Discover The Nature - Outdoor Events has Civil Liability insurance, which covers damage caused to third parties, up to a value of 50,000 euros per claim. Insurance policy R.C. Nº 1010050870 Liberty Seguros.
2) Discover The Nature - Outdoor Events has Personal Accident insurance, which will be taken out on all activities and for all participants, with a limit of €3,500 per claim. A.P. insurance policy no. 1010054570 Liberty seguros.
3) The insurance provided by Discover The Nature - Outdoor Events complies with Decree-Law no. 108/2009, art. 20.
COMPETENCE TO DEAL WITH CONSUMER DISPUTES
In the event of a consumer dispute, defined in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 144/2015, of 8 September, the consumer may have recourse to the competent alternative consumer dispute resolution body.
Without prejudice to the provisions of the legislation, statutes and regulations to which the alternative dispute resolution bodies are bound, the consumer may opt for the European online dispute resolution platform available at https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr, the alternative dispute resolution body for consumer disputes in their place of residence or the alternative dispute resolution body with specialised competence, if it exists for the sector in question. You can consult the up-to-date list of all the alternative consumer resolution organisations available at www.consumidor.pt.
If there are no alternative dispute resolution body(ies) under the terms of the previous paragraph or if the existing one(s) do not consider themselves competent due to the value of the dispute, the consumer can turn to the National Centre for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Disputes, located in Lisbon, with the email address: cniacc@unl.pt and available at www.arbitragemdeconsumo.org.
